Refinancing

Refinancing a house is a massive pain in the ass. I'm trying to pay the same bank slightly less money than what they already know I can afford. Why would that be difficult when they already know I can make a higher payment?

Well it is difficult and it's full of stupid road blocks for paper work nonsense. Even though it's the same bank the mortgage is already with and it's a small bank where I personally know many of the employees they want to do a whole new mortgage. I have been hunting down different paperwork for the under writers for about three weeks now.

To prove that the whole process is senseless they approved my loan before they even had all the paperwork or sent out an appraiser. The appraiser still had to come out though.
