I don't understand people who pull over to the right when they know you want to pass them. Is this a local thing or do people do that all over the place? OK here's the problem with doing this.
1. You got over to the right because you know your going slower than the pace of traffic. Why not just speed up?
2. You get over enough for me to have a clear view of oncoming traffic that keeps me from passing. The problem is not at all solved by you doing this.
3. Why not just pull off the road if you know the people behind you want to pass and can't?
I decided to do something about these kind of people today. I got stuck behind one on my way to work so instead of trying to pass I didn't. I got over even further to the right than the person in front of me. Just to screw with this person I did 40mph with half my car in the gravel shoulder. They finally took the hint and just sped up to the speed limit. Why is so hard to just drive the speed limit to begin with?
